from Kleine Scheidegg via the legendary Hundschopf to Wengen
Did you know how Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau were created? Have you heard about
the Kriegsloch or the mysterious lights in the Hanneggscheune?
Joseph will tell you stories about these and other mysterious events on this hike.
The hiking route (5.5 km) corresponds to a moderately difficult variant. Good hiking equipment
(maybe hiking sticks) is recommended; the route partly follows small paths. Lunch from the
rucksack (participants bring their own package).
WAB tickets / single ascent Wengen – Kleine Scheidegg and single return Allmend – Wengen
are purchased by the participants themselves.
Participation fee: CHF 30 per adult / CHF 10 per child (up to 16 years of age)
It is suggested that you take a packed lunch and plenty of water.
Joseph has advised that the walk is mainly downhill, at the upper part (upon the Hundschopf) on small paths. It is suitable for all people that like hiking, including children. We shall walk on a rather slow pace, we stop several times for telling and eating. The focus is on having a good time and not on performing high mountain sports.
