The passing of Philip Taylor
Long-standing DHO member Philip Taylor passed away on Sunday May 4, aged 86. A key contributor to the 100 club, Philip suffered a stroke just before Christmas which prevented him from travelling to Wengen this year for the first time in many years.
He had been improving but recently suffered a setback and ultimately died peacefully in hospital with his family by his side.
“Philip was hugely sociable being a member of many clubs,” writes Alistair Callander, fellow DHO member and husband of Philip’s niece, Jenny. “As a result we are trying our hardest to notify those people who would want to know and may choose to attend the funeral.”
