Wild Races, Wild Nights and the Inferno.
Wild! It’s been windy, it’s been rainy. It has been snowing too, thank goodness. Last Friday we skied in the wild, it was a delight to be out skiing, it even included some clear skies and great views. It turned out to be a fabulous final day for lots of people. One of those was Neil who was then using his last day here to be in support of the Wild DHO Inferno Team. I’m delighted to say he was not alone in supporting the team; thank you to everyone (Susie, Michael, Diane, Ian, Kyle, Annie, Nuala, Hayley, Lachlan, Marc, Martin, Mrs Lynch, Andy, Jane …… now I’ve started the list I hope I got you all, sorry if I haven’t). We had a super day, no idea what I’m talking about? Watch this: https://www.inferno-muerren.ch/en/media-actuell/movie-tv-radio
Fancy trying to get a place next year then contact the DHO Team Captain, Alison Hinde through the contacts page.
Wild Days
The weather has been mental! Today there was a landslide below Wengen stopping all trains in and out until nearly 2 pm. It has been blowing a hooly! The wind had teeth and it was biting trains. It rained to about 2000 m today – although it did that after having snowed near to 40 cm down 1000 m first. Sun tomorrow, (that’s Tuesday 23rd January) so looking forward to a good ski.
